This year, our baby will be one year of age. He was born on the fifteen of October 2008 in the refugees camps in Gaza *Where the end of dreams and may lie in his eyes the birth of dreams*. The little baby doesnt know his faults yet. He hasnt joined any political movement and hasnt even listened to news at all. This child was an idea! that might come to the mind of our dear reader, Is it possible that the idea is a child? Yes! If the idea was a dream and a challenge it would derive its legitimacy from the concepts of justice equality and human rights. We as human beings are all equal despite differences in religion gender and political views. Furthermore by believing in the culture of non-violence hope springs from the depth of tragedy so this active idea is renewed continuously until it becomes an entire vision with the help of those who are suffering through the hardship s of life and through our children who havent perceived the light yet. We altogether become one and come to the scene to prove that the dream of being perfect still exists within us. In a small room in Al-Nusirate refugee camp we met to define our target for a better humanity and civilized dialogue. Our goal is to get children out of the darkness of the tunnel and to create a bright future. The beginning was difficult as we marked up as a voluntary team our wishes and dreams. We formed a highly experienced team to translate our thoughts into English and to start chatting freely with people from all over the world who have shown their support to us since the launch of our campaign through passing moral intellectual or financial support. One year has passed and we consider it as a cornerstone that allows us to see the light. Because of our patience and understanding we were able to accomplish simple actions on the level of children and young people up to the level of some poor families who followed our initiative and its progress through the media face book and our website. Despite the blockade we could make our child dream and fulfill some of their dreams. The moment we witnessed that we had laid the cornerstone of our dreams we called on those who have always valued justice and beauty to remember the children of Gaza. Our invitation is directed to every mother sister father grandmother and school teacher to urge their children to light candles and send their solidarity words and pictures in solidarity to their brothers in humanity on the other side of the world who are living in a crisis and in difficult circumstances. We were university students when we founded HI and some of us still students we dont forget our students young academics and those who suffer both in university classes or the non-availability of books and the second year of HI will be the year of Students. An invitation to invite you to show solidarity with them by sending them books that they need. Moreover the wanted books will be listed and provided to students in need in coordination with us.
