Project description:

After the successful work that Global Help Initiative for Palestine HI achieved by launching Peace & love Program for the children of Gaza, and doing the first project, which was an entertainment day for the children of Gaza we succeeded to draw the smile on the children faces! Now we are preparing ourselves for our second project :" Draw your world".
This project is targeting 200 children from all parts of the Gaza Strip that were affected by the recent war in Gaza. The children will imagine and draw the world around them for three days, 3 hours per day they will imagine and draw their world.
The project works on the development of social communication among children. The children will be divided into groups and this will give them the opportunity to express their dreams by speaking and drawing.
After the end of the three days, a committee of artists will evaluate the drawings and select the best 50 drawings at special standards.
Winning paintings will be showed in an exhibition in Gaza City for three days. And Global Help Initiative for Palestine in coordination with other parts in other countries will make mobile exhibitions in several countries in the world with those paintings.
Paintings will be showed on psychological committee in order to translate the psychological feelings of children through the understanding of their drawings and then recommendations will be made for projects that will help children to get out of the psychological suffering.

Children from 8 to 16 years old of age.

The justification of the project:

1 - Children need to overcome and discharge bloody scenes, which they suffered in the war.
2 - Reinforcement of the principle of social acceptance of children and cooperation between each other.
3 - The discovery of skills and creativity of the targeted children.

Objectives of the project:

1 - The promotion of the culture of peace among children.
2 - Give children the opportunity to express their views and ideas through color and pens.
3 - To care of the creators children.
4 - Creating a good mood for children out of the last war crises.
5 - The exchange of cultures through exhibitions around the world that reflect the ideas and perceptions of children and dissemination for the world's children and other communities.
